Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,
On behalf of the entire Westmont Hilltop Middle School Staff, welcome to the 2014-2015 School Year! Thank you for your participation and attendance, if possible, with our annual Grade 5 and New Student Orientation along with our Grades 6-8 Meet the Teacher Night. We hope that each helped ease the transitions for your child's new school year.
As we begin our new school year, please remember to check our WHMS website often as updates occur frequently throughout the school year.
What will remain the same is our Middle School staff's dedication to our students and you in helping make 2014-2015 a very successful and rewarding year for our entire school community! We will continue to adhere the guidelines of our building level and district level mission statements in meeting our students at their academic and social levels. Equally, we will continue to work with you and them to maximize their opportunities for growth and achievement.
Remember, we are here to assist you and your child in having a successful year. If you have a classroom concern, question, and/or compliment, please contact your child's classroom teacher. If you have a building level question, concern, and/or compliment, please contact the main office. Also, our guidance office is available to assist you and help navigate each student through a great year.
Enjoy the school year knowing that everyone at WHMS will continue to make each child's and your 2014-2015 Westy Middle School experience excellent in many ways! Go Hilltoppers!

The mission of the Westmont Hilltop Middle School is to create a nurturing and compassionate environment in which all students can learn in a mutually respectful partnership with our community by providing meaningful, appropriate, and varied learning experiences that maximize student success.
WHMS strives to provide a place for exploration where the student will have an opportunity to discover potential future roles in career, educational, and social settings as he or she matures socially, physically, and emotionally. This educational program must involve the students, school staff, parents and the community.
