Welcome To The
National Association Of Geoscience Teachers Eastern
Section Home Page
The Eastern Section includes professionals
involved in all levels of geoscience education who enjoy our association as
colleagues and friends. Our members are dedicated to the inclusion of geoscience
in any science program and support assessment and improvement of local efforts
in this area. Our best opportunity to work and play together is during our
annual spring conference where we welcome educators in all stages of their
career to renew enthusiasm for geoscience teaching.
IN MEMORY OF OUR FELLOW NAGT EASTERN
SECTION
GEOSCIENCE EDUCATOR
ROBERT LORD

GEOLOGIST, GEOGRAPHER, EDUCATOR, FRIEND.
WE WILL MISS YOU. GOD BLESS.
"I do not know what I may appear to the world, but to
myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the sea-shore, and
diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell
than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me."
