Letter to Students and Parents
I'm writing to you as a follow-up to Mr. Mitchell's contact about how the rest of this year may go. If they have not already done so, PLEASE encourage your children to visit their teachers' webpages at www.whsd.org and familiarize themselves with the tools that are being used for distance learning. While the weeks of 3/30 - 4/6 may be optional/ungraded "enrichment and review", new content is going to be rolled out in the subsequent weeks. As of now, we don't know what grading will look like, but if your children do not participate, it may jeopardize their ability to pass the grade they're in. Potentially, we are going to be completing a full marking period through this distance learning model, and it's very important for the continuity of education that everyone participates as fully as possible.
As always, if you are having any trouble with technology or internet access, please do not hesitate to contact me, Mrs. Clement (email@example.com), Mrs. Butterworth (firstname.lastname@example.org), or Mr. Mitchell (email@example.com) so that we can make sure your children are able to maintain their education during this crisis.
