Welcome to Miss Gilbert's Kindergarten Class!
I am Debbie Gilbert, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. This is my 26th year teaching at Westmont. I began my teaching career in fourth grade and then taught first grade for 17 years. Now, I enjoy teaching our youngest Hilltoppers. I love guiding and nurturing my kindergarten students. They learn and grow so much in a year!
I graduated from Westmont in 1991 and live in the district. I enjoy rock climbing, kayaking, and other outdoor adventures. I also love spending time with my niece and nephews.
I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
