Course Description (from the WHHS Academic Handbook)
Biology/Lab is an inquiry-oriented course that focuses on the investigation of the natural world. The major topics are: (1) Unity, or how all living things resemble one another; (2) Diversity, which shows the variations among living things; (3) Continuity, or the reflection of reproduction and evolution; (4) Interaction, which relates organisms to each other and to their environments. Laboratory investigation is an essential part of this course.
Course Note: The Pennsylvania Biology Keystone Exam will be administered to all students at the conclusion of this course.
