Westmont Hilltop School District

Welcome to Mrs. Noll's First Grade Page!

Welcome! I am so excited for school to start! This will be my seventh year teaching first grade at WHSD. I graduated with my Early Childhood teaching degree from UPJ. I also have my reading specialist and special education certificates. Prior to going back to school to become a teacher, I worked with families as a social worker. I am married with two children. My daughter, Kayleigh, is about to start her junior year as a nursing student at Duquesne University. My son, Matt, recently graduated from Westmont and is in the workforce. I also have a dog named Bauer. We are going to learn a lot and have a lot of fun this year. I firmly believe that family involvement is very important to a student’s success in school. I want you to know that I am always available to discuss your child. You can reach me at my email or by calling me at the school (814) 255-8707 ext 1207. This year we have a student teacher in our classroom.  Please read her introduction below.

Hello families! My name is Elizabeth Baker and I will be the student teacher this year in your student’s classroom. I am a senior at UPJ majoring in early childhood education with a dual certification in special education. I am not only a student teacher but I am also a mom and a wife. My son Jacob is in 5th grade and my daughter Olivia is starting Pre-K this year. My family and I live in Windber. I am beyond excited to start this year with your first grader and have the best year ever!
