Social/Emotional Support
Second Step is the social emotional curriculum that we use at WHES. Ms. Deist shared these lessons with K-1 students each week and 2-6 students every 3 weeks. The Second Step company, Committee for Children, has recorded some of these lessons for students in Pre-K through 5th grade for free! Please feel free to watch these 10-20 minute videos with your kids and reach out with any questions. Some students may have experienced these lessons already, but it would be a great review of how to deal with difficult emotions!
