K-12 School Counseling Mission Statement

The mission of the Westmont Hilltop School District Counseling Program is to support the district’s unified commitment to empower resilient, lifelong learners by attending to the academic, social/emotional, and career development needs of all students, in partnership with parents/guardians, educators, the community, and post-secondary institutions through the school guidance curriculum, individual student planning, responsive services, and system support.

 

Who are School Counselors?
School counselors are certified/licensed educators who improve student success for ALL students by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program. The school counseling program covers the academic, social/emotional and career domains.
