Good evening Parents, Staff, and Students,
This is Tom Mitchell, Superintendent with an important announcement. Due to reported positive COVID-19 cases within the schools and the level of community spread, the Department of Health recommends we close the school district immediately for 14 days.
I know the timing of this announcement is horrible and I apologize for the inconvenience this causes our families. However, the department of health’s recommendation does not leave me any choice.
Tomorrow Friday, November 20, 2020, will be an asynchronous learning day for all students in grades K – 12. All students need to log in to their google classrooms and complete their posted assignments. There will not be live zoom instruction tomorrow. We will make the buildings available for students to retrieve belongings throughout the day tomorrow beginning at 10:00 am and Monday, November 23rd.
The district will implement our red phase schedules beginning on Monday, November 23, 2020, and continue these schedules through Friday, December 4, 2020. Each building principal will send out the red phase schedules tomorrow, as well as, post the schedules on each building's web page.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we navigate this unprecedented time.
