What is The Westmont Hilltop Education Foundation?
As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization, the Westmont Hilltop Education Foundation empowers donors to support the Westmont Hilltop School District and its students while receiving tax deductions for their generosity. Our core purpose is to provide unrestricted, immediate financial support for vital programs and initiatives that directly impact students as needed.
Our new Development office strengthens the WH Foundation's ability to support existing groups and maximize our collective impact through improved marketing, donor management, and stewardship.

Unrestricted Funds – Impact & Flexibility
Unrestricted funds are vital donations that empower the Westmont Hilltop Education Foundation to direct resources to our areas of greatest need. Unrestricted gifts ensure we can adapt, innovate, and continue to make the broadest possible impact on the Westmont Hilltop School District and its students, providing immediate and targeted funds.
How an Endowment Fund Works
An endowment is funded by tax-deductible donations that are invested to earn interest. Only the investment growth is used; the initial gift is held permanently.
Who decides where my contribution goes?
Unrestricted donations to the WH Education Foundation are flexible funds that allow us to cover essential operating costs, respond to unforeseen opportunities, apply to specific donor-requested initiatives, and invest in the long-term strength of our organization.
Endowment Fund donations are contributions to specific programs or scholarships or left to the discretion of the endowment advisors.

Are contributions tax deductible?
Donations are tax-deductible. Please contact your tax professional for individual circumstances and questions.
