Welcome to Second Grade!
Meet Ms. Albert!
Hi everyone!
My name is Ms. Albert, and I’m so excited to begin my second year teaching second grade! This is my third year at Westmont—I started as a long-term substitute in first grade before moving into my current role.
I live locally in Southmont with my five-year-old daughter, Alayah. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, exploring new places, and spending time with my family and friends. I’m also a cheerleading coach for Westmont Varsity and the Johnstown Rec competition team—cheerleading is another one of my passions, and I love using it as a way to build confidence and teamwork in young athletes.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, and I am certified to teach grades K–4. I’m also about to begin working toward my Master’s degree in education.
Teaching is truly my calling—I love nurturing young minds and helping students grow into creative thinkers and lifelong learners. I’m looking forward to another wonderful year at Westmont!
