Communication
I use the Class Dojo app to send announcements, pictures, updates, etc. You can download this as an app on your phone (to get instant communication). You may also use it on a computer or tablet. Go to www.classdojo.com to sign up (specific information was in your child's folder). This is my primary way to communicate with families. It ends up working as both an easy way to text each other and a great platform for sharing photos/videos of our days at school. I strongly encourage you to sign up so you can easily stay up-to-date on all classroom and school-wide announcements and activities.
You may also e-mail me at any time: [email protected]
You may contact me by phone by calling the school office. If I am not teaching, they will forward your call to my classroom. Otherwise, I'll call you back as soon as I can! For a speedier response, please consider using Class Dojo or email.
Your child's folder also serves as an important communication tool. This folder will travel back and forth from school to home and vice versa every day. If you have to send a note to school regarding dismissal changes, appointments, vacations, absences, excuses, etc., please put it inside your child's folder. If you just put it in their backpack, I can almost PROMISE I will never see it. ha! I check student folders for notes every morning. When your child gets home from school, please check his/her folder for any notes from school as I will put any important communication in the folder. This is also where I will put any homework or finished class work. Please empty that folder daily so we don't miss any important communication from one another. Thank you for helping! :)
