Hello! Welcome to the 20-21 school year! I have missed my students so much and am so anxious to see them again! I know that things have been difficult, but we are ready to get back into the classroom and are ready to get back to learning!
Things are going to be different this year but we will make it work and get through it together!
ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL
My students are coming to school 5 days/week! Right now, we are in the YELLOW phase so Wednesdays will be our short day!
***If you are dropping your student off at school - you can drop them off at 8:15. Students riding the bus will arrive between 8:25 and 8:40.
***My students will dismiss at 3:20 on Mon., Tues., Thurs., and Fri. and at 1:20 on Wed.
This is our YELLOW Phase schedule
**********SPECIAL NOTE: The first day of school is Wednesday, Aug. 26th. It WILL BE A FULL DAY!! All Wednesdays following this will be early dismissal until further notice. **************
Picture day will be on the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. Since you do not have an envelope for photos - your child will just have their photo taken and then you can visit the LifeTouch website to order photos. http://www.mylifetouch.com
I will continue to update our google classroom and I will continue to use google classroom activities in the classroom. We want to make sure the students feel comfortable with virtual learning in the event we would ever have to go back to all virtual learning. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this NEVER happens! But - if we all continue to use our google classroom - we will all feel a lot more comfortable than we did last Spring!
This is just a general schedule and not student specific. My student's individual schedules vary since I have a variety of learners and grades in my classroom. But this general schedule will give you a good idea of the awesome learning that is going on in Mrs. Steinly's classroom!

I know this is a lot of information! If you have any questions - please feel free to contact me on Google Classroom or through my email firstname.lastname@example.org
Looking forward to seeing my students soon!

If at anytime you have any questions or concerns - please feel free to email me or call! I will get back to you as soon as possible.
We will be working on hygiene daily including the importance of hand washing, not touching your face, covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze, personal space, and mask wearing (for students who will tolerate it). Please continue to reinforce all of these personal hygiene lessons at home!
I have missed my students so much and am very anxious to get this school year started! No matter the situation, I am here for my students and for the parents! I will work with you to make sure that your child is getting everything they need to have a happy, healthy and successful school year!
