Orientation/School Picture Day

Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 23rd  from 9:30-11:30. (approx.) During Orientation, the children will get to see the classroom, meet classmates, get their school picture taken, and take a bus ride.  I will share important information with you regarding our classroom procedures and policies.

 

During your visit, each child will receive a  green "I'm in Kindergarten" lanyard.  Your child should wear this lanyard to school each day until I collect them to help other staff recognize them as a Kindergarten student so they can offer support and help as needed.

 

I will also ask each family to confirm how their child will get home daily.  I want to make sure that if your child is riding the bus, I have the correct bus information so your child gets home safely every day.

 

Additional parking is available at the Westmont Presbyterian Church which is just a short walk away from the Elementary School.

 

The first full day of school for kindergarteners is Thursday, August 24th.

 

During Orientation, your child will have his/her school picture taken.  You will be able to help us get the best smile from your child for the picture!
