Welcome to WHES ART!

Thank you for taking time to visit my webpage!

Hi families!

I'm looking forward to continuing to educate your child in person, and/or virtually. I know this is different, but we can work through it together.
Please reach out to me via email me at sad@whsd.org if you have any questions.  Your child should join me and their class during their scheduled specials time during their Art week.

The specials schedule will be as follows on a normal school day:

     6th Grade 8:50-9:35
     5th Grade 9:35-10:20
     4th Grade 10:20-11:05
     Kindergarten 11:05-11:50
     3rd Grade 11:50-12:35
     1st Grade 1:18-2:03
     2nd Grade 2:05-2:50

Please bear with me as I will be getting the students situated in and out of the classroom and may be a few minutes behind in bringing you into your class virtually.  For the safety and privacy of this virtual learning, I will post my zoom conference code, number, and password in each of my Google Classrooms.  Each grade level and homeroom will have a separate zoom code. Make sure your child joins the correct Google Classroom. The codes for each Google classroom are posted on the left tab of this page.

Please join my Google Classroom with your child's school Google account so you can complete the activities, turn in work, and to communicate with me directly.  Directions are in the tab directly below this if you do not know how to log in or how to join a classroom.  Please click the tab labeled Google Classroom Codes to the left of the directions, find your child's homeroom teacher, and select the class code associated with their homeroom.

During the Art week rotation, your child will be responsible for the content and assignments taught during the 2 face-to-face instruction sessions (in the classroom or zoom).  Additionally, 1 online assignment will be posted in the ART Google Classroom to be completed by a given due date.

Please email me if you have any further questions.

Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay creative!
