Community Service & Smart Futures
Community Service
Students are required to complete 5 community service hours per year for graduation. This requirement is reinstated as of the 2022-2023 school year. Students are not expected to make up hours from years prior, when hours were waived due to COVID. A Community Service Form and the Google Doc must be completed and signed for all hours.
Completed forms should be submitted to the student's English teacher. This form is accessible on the main website under the Forms tab.

Juniors must also create and upload: Personal Interest Reflection, Career History Essay, Career Summary, Personal Career Evaluation, Cover Letter, Resume, Thank You Letter and Mock Interview Evaluation. You will be guided on completing and uploading these during your English course, but it is your responsibility to follow through with uploading the documents into your Smart Futures account. If they are not visible in Smart Futures, they are not considered submitted as part of your portfolio.
