Special Education Programs and Services

Educational programming in the Westmont Hilltop School District emphasizes education for ALL students, as communicated in our mission statement: Unified in a commitment to inspire and to empower resilient, lifelong learners.

The Westmont Hilltop School District offers a full continuum of special education services to eligible students.  Identification is based on meeting specific criteria for one or more disabilities and a need for specially designed instruction.  The district assures that students with disabilities are included in general education programs and extracurricular activities to the maximum extent appropriate in accordance with an Individualized Education program.
